From Cardinals to Castleton...congratulations, Adam Winchell! Adam is a senior here at Fort Ann who signed his letter of intent last week to play baseball at Castleton University next year.

An afternoon fit for a Pharoah! Mrs. Cody's class is studying ancient civilizations. Students have just finished their Ancient Egypt Unit and made Pharoah masks and filled Pyramids with treasures to take to the afterlife.

Congratulations to Shaye Meschino for becoming a Gold Award Girl Scout, a designation she earned by creating a pavilion with information about local outdoor activities.

This is definitely not my typical welcome back to school letter. I am sure it won't be my last letter of the summer. As you know, we are going to be faced with challenges this year and school is going to look drastically different. The Fort Ann MS-HS will utilize a blended model to ensure that we are following social distance guidelines outlined by the DOH and NYSED.

We are proud to announce that our graduation rates from 2018 to 2019 increased a total of 16%!

FA Regents Chemistry students combined work with pleasure by participating in the "Christmas Cookie Contest".

Our Physical Education classes teamed up with Sergeant Engwer and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee to emphasize the dangers of distracted driving and how it could impact yourself and others for the rest of your life.

Our students explored various industries and learned about the education and training requirements needed for local job opportunities.

Fort Ann Visual Art student, Alexis Scott, entered a Scout Patch Design Contest over the summer and her design was chosen!

Recently, Jr. High English students participated in the first annual "Living Museum." These students studied the Great Depression of the 1930s, a period that involved many infamous American gangster crimes.

Fort Ann Central School is proud to announce the “Top Ten” Graduates of the Class of 2019.

As a part of Fort Ann tradition, our graduating seniors walked the halls in our annual Senior Walk. The seniors were greeted by our entire student body, faculty and staff.

We are incredibly grateful to have had the “Sweethearts & Heroes” team visit our school this February! Students gathered in the auditorium to learn about the impact that bullying has on our school, our community, and to us as individuals.

Congratulations to Mackenzie Campbell for winning the Fall VHS Challenge! Mackenzie earned the highest final grade in her Fall course. She received a gift card to the establishment of her choice. Way to go! We are very proud of her!

Fort Ann Living Environment students tested to see if trees the driving force for lifting water to the canopy of a tree in the lab "Are you 'Straw'ger than a tree?"

Our Music In Our Lives students have been studying West Side Story and celebrated Music Writer, Leonard Bernstein's, 100th birthday on Monday.
